Appointed PersonCourse Objectives
To provide clear information on current legislation, codes of practice and guidance notes associated with temporary construction work, ensuring the implementation of a safe system of work. To gain knowledge and information on the Appointed Person's responsibilities.
Course Content
Responsibilities and all statutory requirements - in particular the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and the approved Code of Practice supporting legislation
Requirements of Dubai Code of Safety Practice in Construction Site.
Duties of the Appointed Person at worksite

Safe Use of Plant and Machinery
Method Statement, and Risk Assessment and Risk Management
Certification: NAJMA Certificate, valid for 2 years
Assessment: students are assessed throughout the course by instructor observation of the essential skills. There is also a summative assessment of knowledge and skills at the end of this course.
