Course details

This module is aims to provide the learner with the knowledge and information necessary to effectively implement and manage a safe working environment for staff, users and other persons. It will provide a detailed understanding of the role of management in carrying out their duties and responsibilities under legislation.

Programme Aim:

This module enables the learner to;

  • Appreciate the importance of a good safety culture in the workplace.
  • Understand the role and function of management in providing a safe place to work
  • Understand the nature of risk management in the workplace.

Entry Requirement

Candidate with a relevant Level 5 certificate and at least one years full time experience
