OVERVIEW \
Course is aimed at all managers, supervisors or employees with responsibility for risk and safety management within an organisation.
OBJECTIVES
This course is designed to provide participants with an overview of the process of conducting risk assessments and the management of health & safety in the workplace. It further aims to enable participants, to conduct fire safety risk assessments and have a working knowledge of manual handling and the requirements of first aid at places of work regulations.
It will enable learners to understand the basic principles of risk and safety management and will therefore give all employees the ability to contribute to the process and act always to protect their own health and safety and that of others.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This course is suitable for current or future Health and Safety Representatives, or anyone employed in practically any work environment who wishes to have the ability, skill and competence to manage safety and to carry out a risk assessments.
