The programme aims to provide candidates with professional education and training in the principles and practice of health promotion as applied to thepromotion of cardiovascular health and diabetes prevention.

Entry Requirements
For this programme, normally a primary degree at any level is required. The Programme Board evaluates each applicant’s academic record and relevant professional experience and assesses the applicant’s level of motivation and suitability as per the Personal Statement submitted as part of the online application.
Course Outline
Students will learn about health promotion theory and its application to the promotion of cardiovascular health and the prevention of diabetes. Students will develop skills in health promotion programme development and the implementation of evidence-based interventions. Communication training and facilitation skills are also developed.
Requirements And Assessment
The three modules are each individually assessed through written assignments and project work.
