This course will help you to be more safety-minded and to supervise according to your company’s workplace safety and health policies.
Target Audience:
This course is suitable for inpiduals who are aspiring to be supervisor or who are in supervisory position, with responsibility for the operation and performance of a team. It is also useful for people in small businesses or the self-employed.

- Information about hazards & the outcomes of risk assessment
- Information about emergencies in the workplace
Safety & Health Programmes
- Implement procedures for Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) participation & consultation
- Resolve matters through consultation
- Organisational emergency response & evacuation exercises
- Supervise & maintain order in the event of emergency
- Monitoring change in work practices or procedures
- Communicate in accordance to WSH guidelines
Managing Risk
- Identify & report hazards
- Implement work procedures for risk assessment, control & emergency situations
- Participate in the investigation of emergency situations
- Control measures to prevent recurrence & minimise risk of emergency situations
- Identify WSH training needs & programmes
- Maintain WSH management records
Control Risk
- Monitor compliance to work procedures for risk assessment, control & emergency readiness
- Assess the effectiveness in existing risk control measures
- Report the findings to designated personnel
- Review & document workplace risk control measures resolution
Methodology: A range of small group discussions, presentations, case studies will be used. The delivery of the course will be highly interactive. Participants will be given adequate time to practice and understand.
