The Chemical Handling Safety Training is course is designed for companies who deal with Hazardous/dangerous chemical ;            
                                                                                          
What will they learn?
Students will learn how to identify and reduce the risk of hazards related to handling of chemicals and the ways to control it. They will also learn how to act in case of an emergency connected with chemical hazards.

Training Topics:

• Aspects regarding Chemical Safety
• Aspects of Physical and Chemical Hazards
• Hazards Symbols
• Material Safety Data Sheets/ Safety Data Sheet
• Hazards Control Measures
• Emergency response
• Safe Storage procedure & Disposal of Waste
• Safety Walk- Visit to the Storage and Chemical Handling Areas.
• Familiarization with Global Harmonized System

Assessment: Students are assessed throughout the course by instructor observation. A practical walk around concludes the course.
 
Certificate: NAJMA certificate of attendance, valid for 2 years, issued on completion of the assessment.
 
Number of students per course: Maximum 12 students per course
