Course details:
This course reflects on today's business environment relating to culture, ethics and social responsibility. Decision making is a central task of a manager, whereby relevant techniques for creative problem solving are being introduced. At its core, the module focuses on the management tasks of Planning (strategic and operational), Organising (structures and systems), Leading (corporate culture and leadership) as well as Controlling (learning from experience). Besides a brief history of management, the tasks and responsibilities of a manager are outlined in this module
