    • Understanding the customer and their needs
    • Customer service delivery and dealing with difficult customers

    • Interpersonal and Communication skills for tourism and travel professionals.
    • Fundamentals of interpersonal communication
    • Effective verbal communication- concept of message, pitch, pace clarity, accent etc.
    • Non-verbal communication- Body language-posture, gesture facial expressions etc.
    • Essential soft skills- attitude, confidence, assertiveness, time management,

    • Trainees will be provided with courseware which includes, study material, handouts, and activity/assignment sheets
    Assessment:
    Ongoing assessment during the training program through submission of coursework and participation in classroom
    Written test at the end of course.
    Coursework (40% weightage Maximum 40 marks)
    Participation in activities (20% weightage maximum 20 marks)
    Final written examination (40% weightage maximum 40 marks)
    Total: 100 marksPass criteria:
    Minimum 40 marks with at least 32 marks from coursework and written examination together and
    • 8 marks from participation in activities.
    • 60 Marks and above- pass in first class
    • 80 Marks and above- pass with distinction.
