Course details

In this course, you learn to understand British culture better, so you can make better choices in grammar and vocabulary when dealing with native speakers. Being understood is just the start. You also want to develop positive emotional connections, and this means learning language that native English workplaces expect.

As such, you learn a few grammar structures that you should use when giving advice to co-workers. They are arranged in two steps, so you can express yourself strongly and naturally, without being aggressive or rude.

Next, we  look at some common phrases that are used in the course, and how you can turn the grammar structures into a quick pronunciation practice. If your mouth can say them easily, you can then focus on what you want to say, not how you should say it.

Finally, there is a really funny video clip about a crazy meeting that is still somehow normal. It's a fun example of the principles discussed in the course, and begins with a few comments from the video with connecting language. There is also a time-stamped transcript, so you can get some really great vocabulary and grammar, while also having a laugh.

If you need polite language for an English-speaking workplace, this course is right for you.
