Mechanical Engineering (ME) is an essential discipline in the production and processing of petroleum and natural gas, and the broader energy sector at large. Our mechanical engineering program will meet or exceed the international standards of excellence in mechanical engineering education, research, and life-long learning. We are dedicated to invest time and resources in educating our students with the expectation that they will develop as the leading experts in their respective field of expertise which are of significance to our industrial sponsors, the U.A.E. and beyond.
The Petroleum Institute University and Research Center (PI) was established in Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates in 2001 with a goal of becoming a world-class institution in both engineering education and energy industry research.
