Course details

This is a comprehensive course that will help new English speakers learn a comprehensive background in English.

What will I learn?

Level 1: Beginner course includes- introductions, what’s this?, friends and family, prepositions, there is-there are, describing routines, basic e. mails, telling the time, basic telephone messages, describing ability, asking for things, Present Continuous, shopping, Past Simple, requests, likes and dislikes, talking about future plans.

Level 2: Talk about family and friends, Present Simple review, hobbies, can- can’t, Present Continuous, Plans and Predictions, writing letters to friends, Past Simple, reading guides, giving directions, if and when, offering help, making suggestions, travel and holidays, whose?, comparing things, describing people and places.

Level 3: Talk about experiences, Present Perfect, read magazine articles about famous people, comparing, talking about personal gripes, countable and uncountable nouns, making predictions, schedules, giving advice, ending telephone conversations, writing replies to queries, giving opinions, Present Perfect Continuous, talking about feelings, passives, conveying current news.

Level 4: Comparing things, describing scenes, phrasal verbs, skimming and scanning as reading skills, travel, obligations, time expressions, past tenses, talking about experiences, if conditionals, gerunds and infinitives, used to and would, jobs, lifestyles, future tenses, passives, reported speech, technology, education, Present Tenses, the environment, some-any, hobbies, relative clauses, health, giving advice, shopping, writing reports, wishes, transport.

Level 5: Avoiding repetition, formal and informal letters, phone messages, booking a room, responding to news, tense revision, phrasal verbs, adverbs, discourse markers, reinforcement tags, passives, real and unreal tense usage, describing trends, describing a personal experience, listening to radio interviews.
