    This course covers all aspects of the English Language: grammar, usage, reading, writing, listening and speaking. Great importance is placed on oral communication and materials are both relevant and stimulating.

    A range of pedagogical teaching practices are used to ensure students reach their full potential when trying to master a new language.

    English Progression

    Students are given a placement test when they arrive in Ireland to ensure that they are placed in the appropriate level for their ability. Every 6 weeks, during their programme, students are given a progression test to ensure that the student is always in a quality learning environment.

    Diploma in Communications Purpose

    Enables students to learn the various mechanisms that people communicate with, ensuring that information exchange is effective across a variety of media.

    Diploma in Communications Aims

    • Understand and Communicate via Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication.
    • Understand the principles of Communication Theory and be able to apply them.
    • Understand the benefits of Team Working and Group Discussion and the implications they bring.
    • Understand the principles of Listening Behaviours and apply these principles.
    • Discuss various Visual and Audio Communication methods and their impact on business and education.
    • Develop Presentation Skills and understand the impact and uses of the various modern Communications Technlogy.

Felicia trained students in Trinity College in the 1990's as well as training students for FAS and Community Employment Schemes.
