Strathclyde Business School is internationally respected as one of the most innovative business schools in Europe with one of the largest academic faculties. Strathclyde is accredited by the international accrediting bodies, AMBA, EQUIS and AACSB, and is one of only 59 in the world to have such a distinction. In fact, less than 1% of business schools in the world hold triple accreditation status.
Strathclyde also performs consistently well in the UK government research and teaching assessments. Strathclyde Business School has been placed 73rd in the global Financial Times MBA rankings 2014, moving up 14 places since last year. This position puts Strathclyde in the top 10 of UK business schools and top 20 in Europe. Data from the rankings table also show Strathclyde is 4th in the world for value for money and 21st globally for career progression.
The MBA Program
The Strathclyde MBA has been developed and fine-tuned since 1966 and can be studied in the UK or via International Centres in Switzerland, Greece, The Middle East, or S.E. Asia. Participants have the flexibility to switch between different modes of study, depending on their locations and lifestyles.
Designed for ambitious, talented and well-qualified individuals with solid business experience the Program is based on collaborative learning where work experience, knowledge, understanding and applicable skills are shared, worked with and reflected on.
2015 will mark the 20th year of the University of Strathclyde Business School's operations in the UAE with our internationally accredited and top ranked part-time MBA programme. The MBA programme is offered on a part-time attendance, face-to-face taught basis, and has been accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research.
Academic strengths
The Business School’s subject departments and specialist units collaborate to provide a dynamic, fully rounded and varied portfolio of specialist and cross-disciplinary postgraduate courses.
Strathclyde academic staff have a multidisciplinary outlook and build on the extensive expertise of academic staff from other business faculty departments. Our academics have particular expertise in the areas of strategic management, leadership and scenario planning. Staff also undertake a broad range of consultancy activities both in the UK and internationally. The School places particular importance on strategic management at the level of developing strategy in any organisation, big or small, departmental, or divisional.
