The Executive Counselling and Training Academy Pte Ltd (ECTA) is a private limited company incorporated in Singapore on 18 October 2002. The courses ECTA offer as well as all our teaching staff have met the necessary requirements of the Council for Private Education. The academy is a Private Education Institution (PEI) with the Council for Private Education (CPE). CPE is a statutory board established under the Private Education Act to regulate the private education sector. Besides being the sectoral regulator of PEIs, it also facilitates capability development efforts to uplift standards in Singaporean private education. The vision of ECTA is to become the leader in providing professional counselling training of the highest standards available to Singapore and the Asian region. ECTA's mission is to develop people for meaningful careers in the counselling service. As an academy, ECTA wants to play an instrumental role in developing adult learners’ counselling capabilities and people competencies, critical to the counselling profession.
