Course details

The assessment will cover a range of skills and knowledge competencies required at the basic level of food & beverage service and upon successfully meeting the passing criteria, the candidate will be awarded WSQ-Certificate in Food & Beverage Operations. (FB-CRT-02-2)

  • Maintain Food & Beverage Service Environment
  • Prepare and Serve Coffee and Tea
  • Prepare Non-alcoholic Beverages
  • Interact With and Serve F&B Guests
  • Follow Food & Beverage Safety and Hygiene Policies and Procedures
  • Prepare for Service (Mise En Place)
  • Provide Counter/Take-Away Service

Entry Requirements

  • Minimum 1.5 years food and beverage service experience in F&B industry
  • Possess leadership qualities; be artistic and disciplined
  • Be able to speak, read and write English, or possess a score of IELTS 4.5 / TOEFL 32-34 or Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 4
  • High school diploma or minimum GCE N level with 3 credits
  • 18 years old and above
