The ACCA Qualification will provide you with skills and knowledge relevant to any business, which means you are free to choose which type of accountancy role and organisation you want to work for.
Who needs this course?
Anyone who wants to become a professional accountant and have the choice of working in any type of accountancy sector, either in your own country or other countries around the world.
In short. There are three categories of students who can choose ACCA.

1. HSC (10+2), Intermediates  interested in Accounting Career
2. Bachelors degree in accounting, Masters degree in  Accounting and Chartered accountants
3. Experienced Professionals who wants to reach the strategic management position in big organizations

Course StructureTo qualify as an ACCA member, a candidate will be required to do the following:

• Attempt and clear 13 exams (ACCA does provide exemptions in some exams depending upon the candidate's previous qualification)
• Record 36 months' experience in a relevant role. The candidate can acquire the experience before /during/ after completion of the qualification.
• Complete the Ethics and Professional Skills module.

The 13 courses and exams of ACCA are divided into three levels:  Knowledge, Skills and Professionals
Applied Knowledge level:

• F1: Business and Technology (BT)
• F2: Management Accounting (MA)
• F3: Financial Accounting (FA)

Students will be awarded the ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business once they have successfully completed all three exams. Each exam will be

Strategic Professional level:
There are two essential exams:

1. P1: Strategic Business Leader (SBL)
2. P2: Strategic Business Reporting (SBR)

And two from four options:

1. P3;Advanced Financial Management (AFM)
2. P4 : Advanced Performance Management (APM)
3. P5 : Advanced Taxation (ATX)
4. P6 : Advanced Audit and Assurance (AAA)

 
Duration: 3 hours 15 minutes per paper except ACCA -SBL which is four hours
 
Course outcome:
ACCA is an internationally approved Chartered certificate for professional working in accounting and finance fields. This certification is highly recommended by Multinational companies for their accounting team members. The salary package and the growth opportunities are much higher than that of non certified candidates.
