Programme of Study:
The programme is designed to develop individuals with or without professional knowledge and practical skills, defined by the engineering community for the provision of effective Systems Engineering in their respective organisations. It will be specifically designed to allow those in full-time employment to take the programme in part-time mode and complete the programme within three to five years.
The proposed Masters in Systems Engineering offers the following opportunities:
To provide advanced education in an area of need that supports the objectives of the Dubai Executive Office.
To develop a supply of well-trained post-graduates that will be prepared to undertake leading-edge research in this area. Many of the modules on offer are linked to research projects and students will gain by exposure to an excellent research environment.
To develop partnerships with the private and public sectors to support a proactive research culture and to provide a smooth transition for graduates into professional careers.
Course Overview:
The MSc in Systems Engineering is available as a full-time (12 months) or part-time (24 months) programme of study. It consists of 8 modules (15 credits each) and a dissertation. (60 credits)
