Who is this course for?

This course is ideal for all students passionate about Interior Design, even if they have no previous qualifications. It offers successful Diploma students a guaranteed place on our Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design. This course is suitable for students looking to start their own business, change career, or simply enhance their creativity.

How will I benefit from taking this course?

On completion, students will be able to:

• Start their own interior design business 
• Start a career in an interior design practice
• Progress to a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Retail Design or Outdoor Living.
• Complete a home interior design project as a hobby

How will I study? 

The course is run from our Dubai studio and is a fast-track route to completing the Diploma qualification in 12 weeks. It combines a total of 10 days of in-studio classes to cover the course content, along with home study to complete all assignments. You can choose between week-day or week-end classes.

What will I learn?

Working with a client brief, you will work on an array of skills to take you from client concept stage, through to design development and final proposal stage for a residential project.

With these skills, you will be able to enter into the interior design industry with the practical knowledge required to work with clients. You'll also learn how to establish industry contacts, where to source materials and samples, and how to start building a design community with your peers.

Whilst receiving hands-on advice directly from our experienced tutors, the in-studio course brings together a fantastic mix of students, helping to create an exciting, friendly and dynamic class and the chance to share ideas with fellow design enthusiasts.

• Colour for Interior Design
• Surface Finishes
• Drawing Plans and Space Planning
• Furniture and Accessories
• Creative Lighting
• Professional Practice in Interior Design
• Professional Interior Design Project

How will I be assessed?

Theer are no exams, only assignments that will be assessed.
