Course details
Designed to train participants to teach a class from a prepared lesson plan. This course introduces the student to the concept of utilizing training aids, learning concepts, dealing with issues in class, and enhance presentation skills. Students will gain the ability to teach theoretical and practical lessons within a Fire Station by gaining knowledge and skills in the following areas:- How to assemble course materials,
- Preparing training records and report forms.
- Review instructional materials, given the materials for a specific topic,
- Target audience and learning environment.
- Set up lesson plan, organizing a classroom, laboratory or outdoor learning environment.
- Be ready for a presentation, given a lesson plan and changing circumstances in the class environment. Amend to differences in learning styles, abilities and behaviors.
- Operate audiovisual equipment and demonstration devices.
- Operate audiovisual materials, so that the intended objectives are clearly presented.
- Arrange oral or written and performance tests.
- Grading student oral, written, or performance tests, reporting test results, give answer sheets or skills checklists.
- Provide evaluation feedback to students.
