Course details

Class 1:-

• Introduction and brief history of craft
• Explanation and demonstration of tools and material used

Class 2:-

• Students choose materials and design for personal journal
• Students begin Project 1, measuring material and cutting to required size

Class 3:-

•  Students personalise and finish Project 1
•  Demonstration and design for Project 2

Class 4:-

• Project 2 (notebook cover – a re-usable cover to fit notebooks)
• Finishing Project 2

Class 5:- – Photo Album

•  Demonstration and explanation of Project 3 (Photo Album)
•  Designing colour scheme and choosing materials

Class 6:-

• Making photo album cover
• Preparing pages for album

Class 7:-

• Students finish preparing album pages with frames
• Students insert pages into album
• Reviewing students’ personal projects

Class 8:-

• Students finish any of their projects
• Assess materials needed for their own projects and provide students with them
