Course details
Now that CELT is officially equivalent to the CELTA and TESOL qualifications, you are assured of an industry standard and recognised qualification.
If you wish to teach in Ireland in a recognised school, you must have a university degree and a CELT/CELTA/TESOL qualification.
There are no other certificates that meet this requirement.
We run the CELT initial teacher training course. Course content and certification are identical.
The course is moderated and accredited by QQI/ACELS.
There is no requirement to have a degree to take the course but you will need a CELT qualification (or equivalent) and a HETAC Level 7 qualification to teach in recognised language schools in Ireland.
