Course details
This programme offers graduates with BA or BEd degree, or equivalent, the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and deepen their understanding of key aspects of their chosen subject. It also prepares them for the challenge of exploring the literature around their subject and carrying out their own research, which they present in a dissertation of approximately 15,000 words or its equivalent.
The programme is designed to prepare students for a variety of career paths and is an ideal foundation for further research at masters and doctoral level, which students may also pursue at St Patrick’s College.
Minimum Entry Requirements
Applicants require at least an honours BA or BEd degree (2:2 or above/ 2:1 in Children’s Literature), or equivalent, in the subject in which they intend to specialise.
