This comprehensive programme focuses on developing a strong fundamental understanding in the key areas of hospitality operations and management. Students will acquire a thorough appreciation of hospitality management within the lodging industry, as well as gain operational and strategic management skills required for international hotel, tourism and restaurant management.

On an average, the teacher-to-student ratio is 1:40 for theory lessons and 1:20 for practical lessons.

The interview component allows us to assess students’ suitability as an applicant against our education philosophy as well as the industry. It is also a good opportunity for students to speak to our trainers, share their concerns and gain insights into challenges of the industry.

About Shatec Institutes
SHATEC was set up in 1983 by the Singapore Hotel Association to equip Singapore’s hospitality industry with a skilled workforce.
