Course details
This diploma aims to equip the student with the necessary skills in communicating with customer, performing treatments within industry time limit, planning and marketing strategies. It also aims to provide basic knowledge in the human body structures and functions, diseases and disorders that contradicts treatments and develop his / her personal qualities and attitudes essential for successful performance in as a beauty therapist.
Entry Requirements
Applicants must be at least 16 years of age with two-year industrial working experience and proficiency in English / Chinese and possess a keen interest in beauty and wellness.
A minimum of GCE ‘N’ Level qualification is required for admission of local students. International applicants will be assessed based on the equivalent to GCE ‘N’ Level. However, it is at the discretion of the school that the adult learners’ experiences are taken into consideration for admission to this course. Applicants from non-English speaking countries need to pass Literacy Test or enrol on Basic English Communication Course. Applicants with following Certificates awarded by the CSM Academy International or other relevant and qualified organizations are eligible to directly enrol on Diploma for Beauty Specialists course:
