Course details
The Diploma in Paralegal Studies programme introduces students to the basic concepts of the study of law.
ASSESSMENT / EXAMINATIONS
Written assignment/project work & written examination.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- At least 16 years old as of commencement of the programme (and)
- Have a language proficiency of at least IELTS 4.5. or equivalent in English (and)
- Minimum 3 ‘O’ Level or equivalent qualifications, including English (or)
- Mature-aged students with more than 3 years of relevant working experience will be considered (or)
- Other candidates with industrial experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
GRADUATION CRITERIA
Students must complete and successfully pass all eight (8) modules to be awarded the Diploma.

- Introduction to Criminal Law
- Introduction to Law of Tort
- Introduction to Singapore Legal System
- Legal Research & Writing Skills
- Principles of Liability

ATTENDANCE CRITERIA
All students need to attend at least 75% (and at least 90% for student pass holders) of classes and to be eligible for a Certificate of Attendance.
