Course Outline

Basic & Elementary Level

This course is offered to Students who want to have a good basic foundation in English. Students will go through listeng, speaking, grammer and writing practice

Pre-Intermediate Level

This level is offered to students who posssess a good foundation in of English skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking. The programme focused on applied grammer listening, oral fluency, pronounciation, vocabulary development, and writing structure beginning with sentences and progressing through to organized paragraphs.

Intermediate Level

Students will develop basic academic English skills at this level. They will also be exposed to a range of text types presented in different media that would cover about a third of the high-frequency words commonly used in the academic enviornment. Speaking skills are developed in interpersonal activities and oral presentations. This also helps develop skills in writing progressively, articulate paragraphs, and summarize writing.

Higher Intermediate Level

At this level students begin to expresss themselves coherently in speech and in writing. Focusing on academic skills, students learn to organize and develop their ideas into well-structured short compositions, employing their aacquired grammer and vocabulary knowledge. The Selected reading and listening materials continue to expand the Academic Word list and provide activities designed to hellp sutdens review this vocabulary and reproduce it appropriately. The listening materials expose students to various acadmic topics and assist them in fine-tuning their note-taking, discussion and oral presentation skills.

Advanced Level

At this level studsents strive for prficiency in all teh skills areas required at the university of college level. Study and review of the Acadmeic word list is completed. SStudents refine thier note-taking skills and write progressively longer academic based on original international sourced research. Students learn toparticipate in seminars and further refine thier skills in public speaking.

Business English

To develop and improve a students ability to sruvive in a business enviornment using English as the lanugage of communication. The focus of this course is to develop the students knowldege of business related concepts oand voabulary.
