Course Outlines:

  • Components of gantry cranes
  • Basic movements of gantry cranes
  • Generations of container ships
  • Determinants of securing the movement of crane panels and joystick
  • Manoeuvres within the wards
  • Dual operation ( hoist/trolley)

Course Objectives:

  • Familiarize participants with the main components and technical specifications of the gantry cranes
  • Rehabilitation of the participants to work on the cranes and container handling with ships by the correct ways and following the international safety instructions

Learning outcomes:

  • At the end of the course the participants get a certificate of Qualifying for Gantry Crane Operators
