This confirms that leaders today need to be taking a more hands on role with projects. These leaders are often involved in selecting and approving projects, but rarely involved in delivering them. Organizations need to emphasize a hands-on approach to project management, one that involves the project managers or managers thinking in the same methodology, in providing strategic direction, motivation and inspiration.
