Course details
This course is particularly aimed at students who have completed Interior Design Level 2 course (either Residential or Commercial) at DUCTAC. If one has not completed this course, one needs to have an equivalent certificate or diploma course completed elsewhere to be eligible to join the course.
The main aim of the course is to prepare students for the real world of design with exposure to a variety of presentation formats, securing projects, billing work, preparing contracts and managing clients, suppliers and contractors. The lessons will be fun, practical and very hands on.
The course is aimed at different types of individuals:
- Interior Design students who are ready to enter the workforce
- Interior Designers from overseas that are new to the UAE or architects/engineers/decorators that need guidelines on establishing themselves in this new field
- Any person who wants a greater knowledge of the design world either to complete their own personal projects for themselves or for friends/family
