Six Sigma has various belts which differentiate the various level of skills and knowledge an individual possess for taking up appropriate responsibility in the Six Sigma project.

Six Sigma White Belt is the entry level certification which provides a basic knowledge of Six Sigma and its application in industry. The certification is the firsts level or belt in the hierarchy of Six Sigma belts starting with white then yellow, followed by green and the senior-most being Black belt.
