To further enhance learner's knowledge in material applications in Jewellery Design, learners are exposed to enamelling and contemporary applications in glass.
Course Outline
- Experiment with various techniques of enamelling and working with glass, including fusing and slumping
- Acquire competency in mixing and mounting various materials in unique settings using enamelling and glass techniques such as champlevé, plique-a-jour, cloisonné and basse-taille
- Practice setting temperature for the kiln
- Hands-on individual projects using enamelling and glass techniques
