    To further enhance learner's knowledge in material applications in Jewellery Design, learners are exposed to enamelling and contemporary applications in glass.

    Course Outline

    • Experiment with various techniques of enamelling and working with glass, including fusing and slumping
    • Acquire competency in mixing and mounting various materials in unique settings using enamelling and glass techniques such as champlevé, plique-a-jour, cloisonné and basse-taille
    • Practice setting temperature for the kiln
    • Hands-on individual projects using enamelling and glass techniques
