This course is designed to help Network Security professionals upgrade their knowledge to ver 8.0 of the PAN OS software and also prepare for the Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification. This exam will certify that the successful candidate has the knowledge and skills necessary to implement Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewall PAN-OS® 8.0 platform in any environment.
The Palo Alto Networks Firewall 8.0 Essentials: Configuration and Management course is an online self paced raining that will enable you to:
- Configure and manage the essential features of Palo Alto Networks® next generation firewalls
- Configure and manage Global Protect to protect systems that are located outside of the data center perimeter
- Configure and manage firewall high availability
- Monitor network traffic using the interactive web interface and firewall reports
This module covers the concepts of Monitoring and Reporting on Palo Alto Networks Firewall.
Students must have a basic familiarity with networking concepts including routing, switching, and IP addressing. Students also should be familiar with basic security concepts. Experience with other security technologies (IPS, proxy, and content filtering) is a plus.
