 Role and Functions of Work permit system

PLANNING (ii)
 Avoid risks - the work done in another method
 Evaluating unavoidable risks - through carrying out Risk Assessment
 Controlling hazards at source - eg. Insulate a hot surface
 Adapt work to suit the individual - ergonomically design, provide job rotation to work force.

MEASURING, AUDIT AND REVIEW (i)

 Effective workplace inspections and report writing
 Purpose and procedure of for health and safety auditing
