Course details

This training programme is designed to offer learners an opportunity to explore personal, social and vocational skills and includes a high level of integration into the local community. Underpinning this programme is New Directions, a HSE person centred service for adults with disabilities. Modules on offer are delivered in a flexible manner and include activities and methods based on a cross modular approach. Module Codes M1 – M12 offer learners an opportunity to achieve FETAC Level 3 Certification leading to a Major Award in Employability Skills (as appropriate.

Applying Mathematical Skills, Exploring Education & Job Opportunities, Enhancing Personal & Interpersonal Skills, Introduction to Work Processing , Computer Skills, Healthy Lifestyle, Using the Internet, Managing Finance & Budgeting, Managing Personal Care and Presentation, Introduction to Self Advocacy, Participating in a Work Environment.

Over 90 per cent of those who completed their programmes last year moved on to employment or to further education and training.
National Learning Network is the training and employment division of the Rehab Group. they have over 50 years experience in the area of training for employment or further education and benefit from a hugely experienced multi-disciplinary team of nearly 600 teachers, trainers, programme development officers, psychologists, counsellors and employment support staff.
