Course details

Strategic management makes an effective use of mixing the concepts of strategy and management to achieve business goals. Strategies refer to the initiatives a company would take in order to maximize its resources and grow its business. Management, on the other hand, refers to the process of operating the business on a day-to-day basis and planning for future success. When you put the two words together, strategic management is about driving the company's growth through effective management techniques focused on goal-setting.

Several techniques for strategic management have been developed and adopted in companies of medium and large scales. However, despite their crucial role, existing strategic management techniques are not fit for Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs). MSEs are in desperate need for strategic management approaches that can be used for matching the company’s strengths and weaknesses with the opportunities and threats of the environment. Accordingly, the aim of this course is to deliver necessary knowledge and skills tailored to MSEs’ needs to strategically manage the business.

In this course, you will learn how to assess your business track and how to measure your progress in the chaos you live inside. In such a challenging, dynamic and fast paced environment your company needs a process that fits and runs from day one. This process incorporates means for eliminating waste resulting from overhead activities, plans, and features that will not potentially address customer needs.
