The CIMA Certificate in Islamic Finance is the first global qualification to be offered by a professional chartered accountancy body focusing on the fast-growing Islamic finance sector. A career in Islamic finance requires unique management skills and knowledge. Conventional finance practices often do not satisfy Shari'ah rules. Good practice in Islamic finance means establishing relevant Islamic Shari'ah control systems (ISCS). Financial services professionals in this field must ensure that all financial activities are carried out in accordance with Shari'ah principles, standards, guidelines and best practices established by governing bodies, including the Accounting and Auditing Organisation for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) and the Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB).
