What is this course about?
This Certificate is a follow on from the Certificate in IP Networks (Level 6) and is designed to fill a national skills deficit. These types of courses are not taught on the majority of electronics or IT academic programmes but the specific skill is an absolute requirement for all Information Communications Technology (ICT) companies in developing network technology and for all organisations who operate an IT or ICT network. The requirement for this skillset has a particular current requirement as IT and telecommunications technologies converge.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, students should be able to:
- Operate in network technician support roles;
- Operate in field network technician roles.
What are the minimum entry requirements?
Applicants must have successfully completed the Level 6 Certificate in IP Networks.
All applicants will be considered on a case-bycase basis. Lifelong Learning reserves the right to require applicants to attend for an interview to determine their suitability for the programme.
