Objectives :
This course will examine the practical and aesthetic components of interior design. Students will:
- Understand the elements and principles of design, and be able to apply them to interior
- design
- Understand the properties of colour and how the use of colour affects our interior
- environment
- Apply drafting, illustration, and presentation techniques in the designing of interior
- spaces to suit individual needs
- Demonstrate an understanding of the various materials, processes, and technologies
- used in interior design
- Develop the vocabulary appropriate to interior design in order to communicate their
- ideas effectively.
