What is this course about?
This Higher Diploma in Fund Accounting and Risk Analysis is designed to provide participants with specific knowledge of fund management, risk analysis and credit analysis within the financial sector. It will give participants the tools they need to understand the fundamentals of Fund Accounting and the Lending industry. It is designed to appeal to those who are looking to reskill or upskill into the Financial Services Sector. The applied nature of this programme is reflected in the combination of credit analysis and fund accounting which focuses on developing the student’s knowledge of Financial Institutions, fund management and all regulatory requirements nationally and at an EU level. All participants will improve their knowledge, numeracy skills, IT skills and commercial awareness.
What are the minimum entry requirements?
Applicants are required to hold an NFQ Level 7 or Level 8 major award. In accordance with RPL policy and procedure. Applicants without a level 7 or 8 qualification in business will be afforded an opportunity to submit an application as set out below.
All applicants will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Lifelong Learning reserves the right to require applicants to attend for an interview to determine their suitability for the programme.
