Book keeping is nothing but the systematic maintaining of books of accounts and recording transactions. It is done with the help of several accouning softwares and ERPs. Quick books is one such financial information software to help proper book keeping.

The basic difference is that bookkeeping is a term used for recordkeeping of accounting information in a company. The way the data is entered or the way in which files are maintained is all a part of bookkeeping. Quickbooks is an accounting software used for maintaining accounts and for keeping records in a company.
