Introduction
Industrial Design is a process of design applied to products. Its key feature is that design is separated from manufacture. From environmental objects to light fittings, industrial design equips the learner to design an object from concept stage to design development employing graphics and model making. The course places a strong emphasis on the design process and combines creative ability with technical skills.
Learners are equipped with the necessary technical and IT skills required to work at entry level in this field or progress onto further studies in the design field. This course is project based and the work produced on this course will be presented as a portfolio.
