Acquire the knowledge and skills to apply strategies to create, promote and sustain a culture of continuous improvement, initiative and innovation in an organization, as well as identify, evaluate and manage the associated risks.
What will I learn?
On completion of this unit, the participant will be able to perform the following:
- Develop an organizational culture of innovation, enterprise and continuous improvement with stakeholders
- Develop enterprise strategies and actions to improve organizational growth
- Appreciate the roles and responsibilities of managers in developing enterprising and self-directed workforce
- Develop policies and strategies to promote and sustain innovation, enterprise and initiative for continuous improvement at the workplace
- Establish a framework to track and evaluate improvement efforts at the workplace
- Perform risk assessment of a new policy or management decision on organizational performance
- Evaluate implication of risks on organizational performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Develop a framework for enterprise risk management
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the enterprise risk management programme

- Requires a significant degree of judgment and decision-making

- Prempts and/or addresses emergent and non-routine problems through well-deliberated guidelines
Requirements
- Be able to speak, listen, read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 4
- Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES WSQ Workplace Numeracy (WPN) level 4
