Course details
This course will focus on enhancing participants’ understanding and experience of holistic approaches to education. The strategies and methodologies will focus predominantly on developing a holistic awareness in the person of the teacher, which will have implications not only for approaches to planning, but also for his/her quality of presence and communication in the classroom. Initially the sessions will focus on mindful explorations in movement, voice and the senses. As the week progresses, participants will observe the impact of these explorations on planning and facilitation in Drama and across the curriculum.
