Course details

Learners will be able to apply technical skills they have learnt to competently measure the success of their digital marketing plan using various analytical tools.

Course Content: 

  • Identify digital marketing strategies
  • Outline the stages of analysis, development,implementation and control of digital media campaigns
  • dentify e-tools to include social media marketing, blogs, rich media, email marketing, search engine optimization SEO, online advertising and their application to digital marketing campaigns.
  • Develop customized digital marketing campaigns to include the use of e-tools.
  • Monitor digital marketing campaigns and use e-tools to include web analytics, social media monitoring and social bookmarking to measure their effectiveness.

Learning Outcomes: 

  • Outline the unique characteristics of the web as a marketing medium
  • Outline the stages of analysis, development, implementation and control of digital marketing campaigns
  • Identify e-tools to include social media marketing, blogs, rich media, email marketing, search engine optimization, online advertising and their application to digital marketing campaigns
  • Choose appropriate e-tools to implement a digital marketing strategy
  • Monitor digital marketing campaigns and use e-tools to include web analytics, social media monitoring and social bookmarking, to measure their effectiveness

Course Assessment: 

  • This QQI level 5 course will be assessed through Project which is worth 50% & Portfolio 50%

Course Requirements: 

  • Learners should have QQI level 4 qualification on the National Framework of Qualifications.
