The objectives of the confined space awareness training are:
- To give an overview to the hazards associated with confined space entry.
- To ensure participants are capable of putting in place safe work practices to ensure a safe place of work when working in confined spaces as it applies to the workplace.
- To ensure that participants will be capable of following emergency procedures in theevent of a confined space incident.
WHO IS THIS COURSE INTENDED FOR?
This course is intended for employees entering into a confined space (as defined in the 2001 Confined Space Regulations.)

- Hazards associated with working in Confined Spaces.
- Safe Systems of Work
- Permit to Work Systems – an effective means of controlling risk?
- Equipment relevant to confined space work.

- Testing for Toxic and Flammable Gases
- Gain knowledge of Rescue Procedures.
- Theory & Practical Exercise in relevant site confined space
CERTIFICATION:
Full certification is provided on successful completion of the training course.
