Course details

Complete ANSYS Course is separated by 5 parts of Videos and Advance Module.

1. Design Modeler

The ANSYS Design Modeler training course is for users that want to create and modify geometry in preparation for analysis in ANSYS CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) or ANSYS CSM (Computational Solid Mechanics). Students who attend this course will learn:

  • how to create and modify geometry in preparation for analysis
  • how to navigate within the Graphical User Interface
  • how to generate 2-D sketches and convert them into 2-D or 3-D models
  • how to modify 2-D and 3-D geometry
  • how to import existing CAD geometry
  • how to create line bodies and their cross sections in preparation for FE beam analysis
  • how to create surface bodies in preparation for FE shell analysis
  • how to model assemblies and utilize parameters

To carry out all of the Design Modeler course, it takes approximately 7 hours non-stop.

2. Ansys Meshing

ANSYS Meshing is a component of ANSYS Workbench and the next generation meshing platform. It combines strengths of preprocessing offerings from ANSYS: ICEM CFD, TGRID, CFXMesh and Gambit. The goal of meshing in ANSYS Workbench is to provide robust, easy to use meshing tools that will simplify the mesh generation process. These tools have the benefit of being highly automated along with having a moderate to high degree of user control.

This course is for users that want to create and modify their meshes in preparation for analysis in ANSYS Workbench before doing simulation in CFD or CSM areas. The course covers the following topics:

  • Tetrahedral Meshing
  • Sweep Meshing
  • Multizone Meshing
  • Surface Meshing

To finish the Ansys Meshing course, it takes approximately 5-6 hours non-stop.

3. Ansys Mechanical

ANSYS Mechanical provides solutions for many types of analyses including structural, thermal, modal, linear buckling and shape optimization studies. ANSYS Mechanical is an intuitive mechanical analysis tool that allows geometry to be imported from a number of different CAD systems. It can be used to verify product performance and integrity from the concept phase through the various product design and development phases. The use of ANSYS Mechanical accelerates product development by providing rapid feedback on multiple design scenarios, which reduces the need for multiple prototypes and product testing iterations.

This course teaches students how to effectively use ANSYS Mechanical to build a mechanical simulation model, analyze it and interpret the results.

This mechanical course takes approximately 15-16 hours non-stop.

4. Ansys CFX

ANSYS CFX software is a high-performance, general purpose computational fluid dynamics (CFD) program that has been applied to solve wide-ranging fluid flow problems for over 20 years. At the heart of ANSYS CFX is its advanced solver technology, the key to achieving reliable and accurate solutions quickly and robustly. The modern, highly parallelized solver is the foundation for an abundant choice of physical models to capture virtually any type of phenomena related to fluid flow. The solver and its many physical models are wrapped in a modern, intuitive, and flexible GUI and user environment, with extensive capabilities for customization and automation using session files, scripting and a powerful expression language.

The ANSYS FLUENT training course will teach users how to do their CFD analyses in ANSYS FLUENT and will cover the following topics:

  • Transient Flows
  • CFX Expression Language
  • Heat Transfer
  • Turbulence
  • Moving Zones
  • Overview of Advanced Physics
  • CFX course takes approximately 7-8 hours non-stop.

5. Ansys Fluent

ANSYS Fluent software contains the broad physical modeling capabilities needed to model flow, turbulence, heat transfer, and reactions for industrial applications ranging from air flow over an aircraft wing to combustion in a furnace, from bubble columns to oil platforms, from blood flow to semiconductor manufacturing, and from clean room design to wastewater treatment plants. Today, thousands of companies throughout the world benefit from the use of ANSYS Fluent software as an integral part of the design and optimization phases of their product development.

The ANSYS FLUENT training course will teach users how to do their CFD analyses in ANSYS FLUENT.

FLUENT course takes approximately 8-9 hours non-stop.
