Competency Based Interview Skills

This training will equip you with the skills and knowledge to conduct professional Competency Based Interviews (CBI). You will learn how to apply the Interview Guides to support your interviews and gather more evidence.

Interviewers are presented with structured questions and probes designed to measure both talent and motive. Questions are designed to verify strengths and specifically target areas of possible concern identified.

The course is highly participative with delegates gaining practical experience of applying Best Practice interviewing techniques. Delegates will learn how to ask effective questions, use the Interview Guide and make professional evaluations of candidate performance.
