Course Content: 

Companies Act 2014: Module 2: Directors and their duties:

Friday 5th June: Compliance and Enforcement - Webinar Time: 1.00pm - 2.00pm, This session will cover:

  • Compliance Orders, Disclosure Requirements, Restrictions and Disqualifications and Liability of Officers.

Sunday 7th June: Directors and their Duties - Classroom/ Live Streaming Time: 10.00am – 2.00pm,

  • This session will cover: Appointment, Removal, Validity of Actions, Duties, Offences,Service Contracts and Remuneration.

Thursday 11th June: Offences under the Act - Webinar Time: 1.00pm - 2.00pm, This session will cover:

  • The four categories of offences, Major offences in each category, Criminal Justice Act 2011 and Liability of Accountants specifically.

Learning Outcomes: 

  • You will learn about Compliance Orders, Disclosure Requirements, Restrictions and Disqualifications and Liability of Officers.
  • You will learn about Appointment, Removal, Validity of Actions, Duties, Offences, Service Contracts and Remuneration.
  • You will learn about The four categories of offences, Major offences in each category, Criminal Justice Act 2011 and Liability of Accountants specifically.
