A properly implemented program of risk assessment can assist in the prevention of serious fire, injuries, fatalities, property damage incidents and other losses. This not only helps to prevent human loss and suffering but also assists the effective management and finance of any business or organization.

Course Objective:

By end of the course, the trainees will be able to:

  • State the general benefits and purposes using the risk assessment approach” and apply them to fire safety practices.
  • Learn the basic principles of risk assessment and stages involved in carrying out plant fire risk assessment practices.
  • Learn the key legislative requirements of risk assessment of insurance fire.
  • Carry out record, monitor and be able to review risk assessment practices within their own working area (subject to the possession of the necessary technical skills and knowledge)
  • Awareness of limitations on their personal knowledge and experiences; learning where to seek further information and guidance for plant fire prevention stratagem.

Company supervisors, managers, area engineers, safety personnel or any personnel require to do risk assessment and give recommendation to reduce the hazards associate with work activate at workplace.
